Cheteshwar pujara,
India's one of the finest batsman in Test cricket has signed a short-term, six-match deal with
Gloucestershire for the upcoming county season.
Pujara will feature in the starting games of the season, first match on 12 April. He will be replaced by Qais Ahmed (the Afghan leg-break bowler) as the county's overseas player for the last six games.

"I am really excited to represent Gloucestershire this season," said a
beaming Pujara after sealing the deal with the club. "The club has a
rich cricketing history and this is a great opportunity to be a part of it and contribute to its success. I cannot wait to get to Bristol, meet
my teammates and score some runs."
"Cheteshwar is a player with a great temperament who will add
international experience to the squad," said Dawson, "Adding Pujara to a
strong batting line-up gives me great confidence ahead of our opening
county championship matches."
